Bangkok Lyrics
You scratch my hand and say
there’s a better land
Well I know your daddy he’s not rich
And your mothers a drunk
But your the one that I worship and adore
you know it smells like Bangkok in Chinatown
Did you get your pound of flesh today?
To learn about your past
Its a mean unpleasant land
Sometimes it doesn’t touch the sides
Like a sausage up an alleyway
I know how so
It’s another gram
It’s another man

prostitute? I think so. A sausage up an alleyway. lyrical genius. well done boys.

Sometimes you coming deep inside Sometimes it doesn’t touch the sides Like a sausage up an alleyway
If their talking bout sex with a prostitute they're strangely unfitting lyrics for libertine's standards

when pete went to rehab in thailand he aprently ran away to bankok to find drugs so the song could maybe be about that...

I have a feeling this song is about the old days when Pete used to sell his body to fund his habit "you know it smells like Bangkok in Chinatown" and "its another gram, its another man" and it is definetely about sex between 2 men, no love there, no montagues or capulets...

actually i think this song was written before pete went to rehab in thailand, they just sung about what u can find in bankok..which is famously known for its cheap costs of drugs like herion and crack and cheap prositiutes.. thats why it was ironic for peter to go to rehab there...he left and went straight to bankok!

I love how shamelessly phallic "like a sausage up an alleyway" is haha.. But yeah, I'd say it's about love, sleaze, and drugs. "Pound of flesh" is a reference to Shakespeare's Merchant Of Venice, in which a wealthy Jew, Shylock, lends a merchant money on the condition that if he doesn't return it by a certain date, Shylock gets to choose a pound of flesh to cut off from anywhere on the merchant's body.

This song's about Carl being a woman.
