Today I Became a Realist Lyrics

the sad face of dreamers, waking to the life that passed them by. they follow forever the flame that holds their eyes(?). they march in place, straight to their graves. they hold their hands, whispers in the air. what fills our eyes is what makes our lives, as they kick the dust just to remember the light

the poorly drawn believers, fading in the towing of the tide. they sink here forever, stark as stone inside. they insure their names, in spots on graves, in the idle hands of idle days. as we fill our lives, we all realize how we spend our days is what becomes our lives

sail on quick. fly past the world. find me a love

Wax On Radio draws from Ambient and Progressive Rock Genres throughout the album, which means that songs usually have interludes and outros that connect to intros of the other tracks. This entire album is working towards one theme, the power of hope and determination. Since a motif is sent throughout the album, doing a continuous track album makes sense. This is not becoming a run-on sentence, this is a sort of an epic.

They're talking about religion in this song. People who are easily led into religion and never stop to really think about it. Not necessarily every religious person just those who don't go so far as to even question it. And they're talking about how these people may end up just a corpse in the ground, with names carved in stone above them in their memory. And that's it. Yikes.

cowtowe16 is 100% correct. this song is about religion.

they march in place, straight to their graves. (this line is a direct reference to blind submission) they fold their hands, whispers in the air.(this line is a direct reference to praying ) what fills our eyes is what makes our lives,( what you see is what you get! do not rely on things that exist outside of time and space. educate yourself!) as they kick the dust (←death) just to remember the light

the poorly drawn believers, fading in the towing of the tide. (this line is a reference to sheeple...

i think the word 'amazing' to describe a band is used way too often. This is the first band, i think, that deserves a word better than amazing but I can't think of anything.

I really have high hopes for them.

"Nitescreen" is so right. I always try to tell people that amazing should only be used when a band is just that. But now it seems its not even that good to be amazing. I hate how people use it. While were at it, throw all genre's out the window, good music is good music and "wax on radio" is good music.
