I honestly don't have a clue what im talking about,
this is a statement.

Im sorry for being so middle class
spoilt little me ive got my head up my own ass
you've got your toys and ive got mine,
you keep your ak-47 ill keep my 4xWheel drive,

Yeah right does anyone care so much?
your politics are something that should never be touched,
I'm dumb, im dumb to the core,
Im dumb gimme 4 to the floor,

My love, we need, 2 glasses of wine and a passion to breed.
My love, we need, a cupboard of guns and a sunday on speed.

how many A-lavels does it take to build a wall... how many a -levels?
I'm dumb, im dumb to the core,
Im dumb gimme 4 to the floor,

Pick my guitar up nice and easy, run my hands down its neck and i'll play it with feeling.

What are ecenomics, stock exchange and social politics?
Not for ME hunny its not for me hunny.

What are ecenomics, stock exchange and social politics?
Not for ME hunny its not for me____

would you love me if i were black,
would you love me if i were gay or put i knife in my back
i didnt ask to be who i am,
but im here and here i stand,

How many a-levels does it take to rule the world? how many a-levels
I'm dumb, im dumb to the core,
Im dumb gimme 4 to the floor,

You dont have to shout just to get your point accross (X7)
You've only goto SCREAM just to get your point across!

What are ecenomics, stock exchange and social politics?
Not for ME hunny its not for me

This is amazing, I don't know how many times I've listened to it but it never gets tiresome.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
