    sounds like an affair love triangle type of thing. agony and ecstasy interpret to me as bittersweet. the agony being the bitter part but the ecstasy being the sweet part. it's a love that cannot be freely expressed because of the complications that come along with them. dang that sucks. haha

    I belong to someone else we know... It's a love affair. She lies alone, and he lies next to someone else, but he is thinking about her. You would think he would leave his wife, but things are complicated. It seems there is something deeper keeping them apart, more than him being married. The lovers worlds don't fit togheter, maybe she is a different race, or different social status. It's a time when these relationships where not accepted. So he is in pain and agony for having this forbidden lover, but he can't leave her because he gets ecstasy being with her. His pain is so great that he begs her to leave even though he loves her... because he is not strong enough to leave. "So you'll have to do the leavin' me, yeah And you'll have to do the leavin' me, oh, baby Cause I'm gonna pay the agony, yeah"
