I absolutely adore this song. It touches the deepest part of my heart, for some reason. I sometimes listen to it on a loop, just because it's so beautiful.

This song is Karl Jenkins' masterpiece featuring Miriam Stockey as lead vocals. It is often attributed wrongly to Enya, whose voice is great too, but clearly not the same as Miriam. I hope this is clear now.

Oh! I always thought it was Enya, from the first time I heard the song and didn't even know who it was by! Weird, huh? I looked it up the other day and Karl Jenkins' name kept coming up but I couldn't really figure out exactly how he came into it.
Thanks Ozzy for clearing that up.
Poor Jenkins. He's not even getting the credit for his own music (which is awesome, by the way).

Lol what is ironic that Ads by Google says "Enya - Listen" :P
Even this site is getting it wrong :(

Forgive the un-initiated here, but is this song in some foreign language, or is it just random chanting? Very curious if there is some cultural history to this song.
It's just chanting. I read a wiki about it.

Ok I just listen to this when I'm sad, happy, angry, tired, depressed, or anything else. I just LOVE it. Its a break from real life.
