"Hooch" as written by and Roger Osbourne....
Lost icka toe rest
Might like a sender doe ree
Your make a doll a ray day sender bright like a penalty
Exit ease my ray day member half lost a beat away
Purst in like a one-way sender
War give a heart like a fay
'Cause I can ford a red reed
Only street wide, a reed land
Diamond make a mid-evil bike
A sake like a reed caste
'Cause I can ford a red reed
Only street wide, a reed land
On a reed land
Find a reed land
You sink my swan
Rolly get a worst in
Maybe minus way far central
Poor forty duck a pin
Milk maid dud bean
Master a load a head
Pill pop a dope
A well-run general hash pump gonna led

General CommentReminds me of these experimental dada poems, where it's all about the rythm you speak it in, not the words themselves.
Only the Melvins can possibly have lyrics like this.

General Commentto me this line "exi-tease my ray day member" sounds like "as you tease my raging member" o_O yeah, my mind may be in the gutter but it really sounds like that to me.

General CommentActually, if you know how to decode it, it's a story song.

It's about someone who was formerly a drug dealer, who, against the wishes of his significant other, while in financial trouble, goes for one last score. . .and gets himself killed in the process.

Interesting story about this song. I was at an in-store concert by the Melvins in NEw Orleans, and everyone in the crowd is calling for "Hooch" (This was during the Stag tour) and Buzz keeps saying, "We haven't practiced that one in a long time." Finally, they give in, an start playing it. IT sounds perfect until the second verse, where Buzz sings "Los ticka toe rest" again, and then realized what he did, and in perfect rhythm, sings "I forgot the fucking words." for the next line.

My OpinionI prefer to make up my own lyrics for these Melvins songs.

"She didn't wanna believe all I can think about's my tree-stand"

"I'm tired of making believe I need to clean my sloppy grease pan"

    "Box o' pee cans"

    "Alan Greenspan"

General CommentOk, None of the songs from The Bride Screamed Murder are posted yet, but
I have to say that it is Melvin's worst album and an extreme displeasure to listen to.
I just hope they don't play of that if I see them live pX
