(Love without guilt, love without doubt)
(Love without guilt, love without doubt)
(Love without guilt, love without doubt)
(Rejection, love without doubt)
(Love without guilt, love without doubt)
(Love without guilt, love without doubt)
(Love without guilt, love without doubt)
(Rejection, love without doubt)

(Don't go near the fire, don't go in the dark)
I don't, don't care if it's not right
(Don't give in to your desire, 'cause he's gonna break your heart, let go)
(Let go) To have your arms around me
(Don't go near the fire, don't go in the dark)
I want to feel what it's like
(Don't give in to your desire, 'cause he's gonna break your heart, let go)
(Let go) Take all of you inside of me

In your eyes (in your eyes), forbidden love
In your smile (in your smile), forbidden love
In your kiss (in your kiss), forbidden love
If I had one wish, love would feel like this (love would feel like this)

(Don't go near the fire, don't go in the dark)
I know that you're no good for me
(Don't give in to your desire, 'cause he's gonna break your heart, let go)
(let go) That's why I feel I must confess
(Don't go near the fire, don't go in the dark)
What's wrong is why it feels so right
(Don't give in to your desire, 'cause he's gonna break your heart, let go)
(let go) I want to feel your sweet caress

In your eyes (in your eyes), forbidden love
In your smile (in your smile), forbidden love
In your kiss (in your kiss), forbidden love
If I had one wish, love would feel like this (love would feel like this)

If I only had one wish
Love would always feel like this
Wishing on the stars above
Forbidden love
If I only had one dream
This would be more than it seems
Forbidden love (forbidden love)

(Love without guilt, love without doubt)
(Love without guilt, love without doubt)
Rejection (love without doubt)
Is the greatest aphrodisiac

In your eyes (in your eyes), forbidden love
In your smile (in your smile), forbidden love
In your kiss (in your kiss), forbidden love
If I had one wish, love would feel like this (love would feel like this)
In your eyes (in your eyes), forbidden love
In your smile (in your smile), forbidden love
In your kiss (in your kiss), forbidden love
If I had one wish, love would feel like this (love would feel like this)

(Love without guilt, love without doubt)
Love should always feel like this
Heaven forgive me, never forbid me (love without doubt)
Love should always feel like this (rejection)
Heaven forgive me, never forbid me
Love should always feel like this (rejection)
Heaven forgive me, never forbid me

Yep. Being tempted by someone who is unavailable, or even someone that other people wouldnt approve of.

I think it's about meeting someone and instantly knowing that they are the "one" for you and possibly at the same time people are against it so that is why it is forbidden. Good song.

Great song & beat. It's about two people who are in love with eachother...or could fall in love with eachother. They are kept from expressing this love they secretly share because of an obsticle, most likely, they are each commited to another person...hence 'Forbidden love, we sealed our destiny forever....' It is a perfect song for describing one of the most helpless feelings one can have....having someone standing right next to you yet missing them, because you can never fully have them. It is a forbidden love, a secret.

The music in this song is awesome.

The lyric line written above "are we supposed to be together?" also sounds like and is commonly quoted elsewhere as "always suppose to be together." I think it is primarily intended to be "Always suppose to be together" but is also geniusly intended to ask the question to the person who is referenced in the song as "You(r)" what it also sounds like "Are we suppose to be together"

The other line above that might be misquoted is ofter quoted as "It's been our destiny forever"

I think it is significant to the meaning of the song that the first line omits any reference to "you" or "your" whereas the other lines, such as "Just one touch from your hands was all it took to make me faulter" does reference "you(r)."

So here's my conclusions: "Just one kiss on my lips Was all it took to seal the future " is a reference to a marriage kiss of the singer. That I'm fairly certain.

"Just one look from your eyes Was like a certain kind of torture," "Just one touch from your hands Was all it took to make me falter," Just one word from your mouth Was all I needed to be certain" are in reference to a connection made between soulmates (one who is the singer and one not the one she married). Madonna seems to be all into that soulmate stuff/belief, and the other verses of the song make me think that is what it's about.

The forbidden love theme probably relates to marriage/monogomy thing, and from the other songs such as "Get Together" maybe even "Hung Up" and even "Jump" make me think it is more likely a strong value comming from the non-singer soulmate.

which makes sence since another line in the song is unlike quoted above sounds like and is ofter quoted as "It's been our destiny forever"

I think that its about a gay relationship. the beginning part about "there was a boy - there was a girl" is off if thats the case...

but to me, the part that seals it is when she sings "are we supposed to be together?"

Its like gay people who arent sure if this is normal. Thats just my take on it...

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
