"Hold On" as written by and Vena/cloyd....
Now I know that it's the same.
Different people, different days.
It won't change.
Do you find security?
Knowing you have broken me.
Like a pastime.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
Is popularity your quest?
Is this game the perfect test?
Do we all? Do we alter?
What we are. Who we honor.
Playing with people's hearts?
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
I find myself, alone again.
I don't want to find myself alone again.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
Different people, different days.
It won't change.
Do you find security?
Knowing you have broken me.
Like a pastime.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
Is popularity your quest?
Is this game the perfect test?
Do we all? Do we alter?
What we are. Who we honor.
Playing with people's hearts?
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
I find myself, alone again.
I don't want to find myself alone again.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.
Hold on and you'll find,
What you're eventually looking for.

alright well, this song,
the speaker has been decieved and broken by a person, and is not the first person they did it to. The person goes around breaking people, playing with their hearts. And he's wondering why they did it, for popularity, testing people, or altering people in some way. Then saying if they hold on they'll find what they are looking for.
But then the speaker finds themselves decieved and broken just as before, it seems this is the first time they believed someone may be different. They are tired of being alone and being played with, they are trying to find someone who will care and they will mean something to, instead of putting hope into something only for a let down. They are sick of being taken advantage of while vunerable.
This is an amazing song and i can relate alot.
