Maybe we're all different but we're still the same
We all got the blood of Eden running through our veins
I know sometimes it's hard for you to see
You're caught between just who you are and who you want to be

If you feel alone and lost and need a friend
Remember every new beginning is some beginning's end

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you got to believe
That right here, right now
You're exactly where you're supposed to be
Welcome to wherever you are

When everybody's in and you're left out
And you feel you're drowning in the shadow of a doubt
Everyone's a miracle in their own way
Just listen to yourself, not what other people say

When it's seems you're lost, alone and feeling down
Remember everybody's different, just take a look around

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you got to believe
Right here, right now
You're exactly where you're supposed to be

Be who you want to be
Be who you are
Everyone's a hero
Everyone's a star

When you want to give up and your heart's about to break
Remember that you're perfect, God makes no mistakes

Welcome to wherever you are
This is your life, you made it this far
Welcome, you got to believe
Right here, right now
You're exactly where you're supposed to be
And I say welcome
I say welcome
Welcome

this song made me a little bit teary when i first heard this... it really hit me. It makes me feel like i fit in... it's hard to fit in during high school, people chop and change every five seconds. this song makes me feel that i don't have to in order to fit in. I'll just be me.

This song is ME. This is how I feel... I've never been able to relate to a song like this. I listen to this whenever I'm upset, and it's reassurance that everything will be okay. I love this song and band so much. They've changed my life.

I was i tears when i first heard this. I piece together all the things iv been through in my life and where i wanna go in the future. I was at my lowest last year, but when i finally got into college, i felt so content with my life and where i wanted to do with my future. This song sums my life so far! Hats of to the band! They've made me what iam today!

Its 100% true for the average highschool kid, when your at the point when your just tired of trying to follow and latch onto to every trend and trying to hold on to departing ones, while also dealing with the "higher-ups" its a song about not giving up "you made it this far"," When you want to give up and your heart's about to break Remember that you're perfect" and to always be proud of yourself.

I also had the experience of seeing bon jovi live at continental airlines arena in dec. amd theres nothing like a live show in NJ from Bon Jovi. its just so electric the entire stadium sang every lyric of every song they did , and sometimes all they had to do was play the first Riff and the crowd finished the song with Jon still singing. its a great experience, you have to see Bon Jovi in new jersey, seeing him anywhere else would be blasphemy lol

This song pretty much a summary of my life. Just like everyone else has said. It actually makes you look at your life in a different perspective. If you actually listen to the words. This song gives me goosebumps because every single line is true.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
