The first does the talking cause the second one's not speaking to them now
She is thinking is that the same tongue that he put inside her mouth
And her room has gotten colder since she left her door open
And her room has gotten colder since she left that damn door open

And I feel better knowing that
Feels much better knowing

Sold me to the earth
Needles of your eyes
No one likes a failure
But I'll sleep on the floor
Cause there's no room in your bed
But that's the way you like it

I'll just wait right here (let it go, let it go now)
Cause I got no where else to be (let it go, let it go now)
Besides it's almost morning (let it go)
You can't run from me (let it go, let it go now)
Cause you can't leave the house (let it go)
So that makes you a traitor
A traitor
A traitor

The first one just start shaking whenever he appears the seconds gone
There's no use blaming it's not his fault that this hate runs through his core

There is nothing but regret
And it hurts for me to breathe
Feel the weight upon my chest
A thousand pounds of your deceit

Please don't look at me
Try not to get scared
Cause no one likes a coward
And waiting in the wings
Tired of feeling tense
The second one's a liar

Don't believe in him (let it go, let it go now)
Cause you no it's not my fault (let it go, let it go now)
This is what you wanted
Sold me to the earth (let it go, let it go now)
The needles of your eye (let it go, let it go now)
No one likes a failure
Failure
Failure

Wow. I just sort of found Commander Venus, I've been a Bright Eyes fan for awhile. I love the first stanza, but you can barely hear it in the song. :[

does anyone else think that in the last line, its "her room has gotten colder since she let that damn boy..." instead of "And her room has gotten colder since she left that damn door open" and it would make sense because its like, her life as gotten worse and worse since she let that boy into her life.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
