This is it,
Our one chance to make things right.
Post love affliction.
Our hearts nightmares won't let this happen again.
Name the last time I wrote about something other than you.

I'll keep dreaming.
Not another word sweetheart.
Nothing is perfect,
But this has to be someday.
So I'll keep dreaming.
We have to be someday.
When I'm the reflection in her sun bright eye.
Knees go weak,
And lips quiver.
The split second before they meet.
This is our annual.

If you believed what you felt you would be in love.
This is our.
If you believed what you felt you would be in love.
If we believe.

this is my absolute favorite chiodos song. i agree that it's about giving an old relationship another try. it reminds me so much of me and my ex, who i'm still in love with. the end gets to me the most when he says 'if you believed what you felt you would be in love'. so fucking amazing.

Basically givign an old relationship another shot. not letting anything get in the way this time. No matter what happens just making it work it takes two to fall in love. if she just believed what they had was amazing they could be so happy in love

I just started listening to Chiodos more, and now I'm in love with this song. And when I signed up for this website like 3 minutes ago I made the "So I'll keep dreaming part" my username.

"Basically givign an old relationship another shot. not letting anything get in the way this time. No matter what happens just making it work it takes two to fall in love. if she just believed what they had was amazing they could be so happy in love"

Yep. I'll go with that. Good job.

If you believed what you felt you would be in love.

So amazing. Made me think a lot.

I'm difficult. I believe the "post love affliction" is supposed to be in quotations.

It just seems right to me. it's nothing major. but it kinda addds to the song.

Yeah, you're right on. All my friends are like, "OMG You wouldn't last a minute in the Creek!", "OMG The Word Best Friend." And I'm like, "Nah, To Trixie"

Fav Chiodos song. I usually listen to wayy diff music, but I really enjoy them.

"we have to be someday" is my favorite line. i personally get that he means himself nd the girl he loves have to be together someday. "we" being them together.

since you've all done well analyzing the song, i'll skip right to praising it:

i agree with care-lines...this is my favorite chiodos song. the line "if you believed what you felt you would be in love" ---i can relate so much.

AMAZING live. and the keyboardist, unlike underOATH's useless chris dudley, really goes to work. he's the shit. this band is the shit.

Mmm. Yeah I agree with everyone here. I can relate to this song alot. It's kind of motivational to me, with the situation I'm in. It's just a great song, Chiodos is pretty incredible.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
