Children all have saviors
Children don't care who saves us
Round the corner, round the bend
Fingernails torn to the end
Bring back, bring back
Bring back, bring back on me
On me

I told them, we scold them
Can't console them always
Toy soldiers falling
Dominoes, but who knows?

Bring back, bring back
Bring back, bring back on me
On me

Yeah and I dream of falling stars
And tokes for all my friends
And I will live forever
Yeah and I dream of all I'm worth
And all along the way
And I will never even
Yeah and I will coast through falling prayers
And all along the way
And I will always listen

Bring back, bring back (I)
Bring back, bring back (Or)
Bring back, bring back (We)
On me....
Bring it back, bring it back on
Bring it back, bring it back on
Bring it back, bring it back on

It's about how kids are so naive and will trust anyone and believe anything they are told.

No. It's clearly about child abuse. Finger nails torn to the end. Scold them.. can't console them. Toy soldiers falling dominoes.. but who knows?

Chad has said in interviews that before Silver Side Up he wrote very metaphorical and vague songs, so no wonder its hard to work out the meaning.

I am positive the first two lines are wrong. They actually say:

Children on horses Children on carousels

I know it sounds kind of random, but it goes with the toy theme kinda. And that is really what they are saying if you listen hard enough.

Nobody seems to be able to get Nickelback lyrics right.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
