Now we're broken on the floor
She just wants me to share her
It hasn't been this way before
She just wants me to dare her
The phone rings
And she screams
Stab my back
It's better when I bleed for you
Walk on me
It never was enough to do
I can't get past her
Falling faster
True.
It hasn't done a lot for you
And every time he held you close
Yeah, were you thinking of me
When I needed you the most
Well I hope that you're happy
The phone rings
And she screams
Stab my back
It's better when I bleed for you
Walk on me
It never was enough to do
I can't get past her
Falling faster
True
It's better when I bleed for you
I hope that love he gave you
Was just enough to save you
You nearly broke my heart
Just look at what you're tearing apart
Stab my back
It's better when I bleed for you
Walk on me
It never was enough to do
I can't get past her
Falling faster
True
It hasn't done a lot for you
It's better when I bleed for you
It never was enough to do
It hasn't done a lot for
She just wants me to share her
It hasn't been this way before
She just wants me to dare her
The phone rings
And she screams
Stab my back
It's better when I bleed for you
Walk on me
It never was enough to do
I can't get past her
Falling faster

It hasn't done a lot for you
And every time he held you close

Well I hope that you're happy
The phone rings
And she screams

It's better when I bleed for you
Walk on me

Walk on me
It never was enough to do
I can't get past her
Falling faster
True
It hasn't done a lot for you
It's better when I bleed for you
It never was enough to do
It hasn't done a lot for

The girl in the song broke his heart by [cheating] on him or something along those lines, you know? And then, for the girls' behalf: I had reason to cheat. I didn't do it randomly. He did a lot of things to hurt my feelings, too, although nothing can justify cheating in my opinion. And since my ex-boyfriend lives far away, we mostly can only talk on the phone, and we argue a lot, and most of the time, I'm first to lose my temper:
Stab my back,
it's better when I bleed for you
Walk on me,
it never was enough to do
I think that the girl is saying that if she's going to get hurt at all, it would be better if she were hurt by him. That's how I feel about my ex. I mean, obviously, none of us want to get hurt, but there will always be that one person that we would rather hurt us than anyone else. It's like a really effed up sense of comfort, and I think that's what the girl feels.
And ultimately, I think that this song reflects a couple breaking each others hearts from misunderstandings. Now, they're so busy fighting with eachother and being angry at eachother, that neither will be the bigger person and admit to mistakes. =)
That's just one theory. Really
I think this song is about he fell in love with a girl, and than she backstabbed him and went with another guy.

"Stab my back, it's better when I bleed for you
Walk on me, it never was enough to do"
does this not imply it was her back that was stabbed?im a bit confused!
