I won't forget you
I'll find you on the shore
You're rooted in a dying ocean
All of your silence

Rang like a storm of bells
It's been too long
Did you get to face the crowd?

Down on your knees
Your conscious biting
Disarray, your heart has fallen
All you were has been forgotten

To all you were
You know who you are
You know who you are

General CommentI love this song. Again I twist songs, and I guess I mighta twisted this one. But to me, it fits absolutely perfectly with my life. I would sing this to myself. Especially the line "You're rooted in a dying ocean" amd "You know who you are". When you feel like you've forgotten who you really are, and "all that you were has been forgotten". You fall and your concience kills you because you know your lost, but this is kinda hopeful, with you know who you are, and you wont forget who you are. You're there...rooted in a dieng ocean.

You may say I'm wrong. But to me, this song is perfect.

General Commenthey i got to know this song while i was playin nhl 2007 and i think it s the best song ever on the game soundtracks though some may not think it suits the game cuz the game is kinda action...on the contrary i think it does suit the game but thats my opinion anyway...i may have got it wrong cuz thats not my native language please correct if im mistaken...i think he had a relationship which ended up in a miserable way,and he thinks she will stay indoors when he says ''you re rooted in a dying ocean''(so deep, and isolated)and''did you get to face the crowd''...and he thinks she regrets what she has done''down on your knees your conscious biting, disarray your heart has fallen''..this song is all about a relationship that ends up in a miserable way...

General CommentI think it's about believing in someone who has lost faith in themselves. Maybe they did something terrible, mistake or otherwise. Maybe they couldn't do something.
Anyway, I think the narrative of the song is that the once great person won't be forgotten and when they finally find themselves or "reach the shore", the person singing will be waiting for them to be great again.
