Imperfection she's been told
The positives are undersold
A gain of envy, loss of health
Preparing to consume herself

She does not see the pulsing veins
She does not feel her own restraint
Before the eyes her beauty is wasting away
Reflections placed
She's dressed in decay

You see the struggle flood the skin
From promises to paper thin
She turns a blind eye, will of stone
From stunning smile to flesh and bone

She does not see the pulsing veins
She does not feel her own restraint
Before the eyes her beauty is wasting away
Reflections placed
She's dressed in decay

She does not see the pulsing veins
She does not feel her own restraint
Before the eyes her beauty is wasting away
Reflections placed
She's dressed in decay

General CommentThis song is about a girl who has been put down and hurt her whole life so thats all she believes about herself and in reality she is more than all that. She doesn't see the good in herself or the beauty she possess but because of everything she is just killing herself in a way.
