Awesome song. Nice start to a great album.

Oh how i love tfk! Art of breaking is such a good cd! Man their live concert it super also! (I saw then two days ago) What to say about this song..Well I havent really thought about it much, but in my opinion I think it's about wanting to know more about god before the time of jugdement (rapture)..but then again this is just a brief thought of mine.

My dads friend is personal friends with steve the drummer because he was his youth pastor. He knows the entire band and said that Trevor said that the song is about finding the abosolute truth.

this song reminds me about all the people around who try to live this life by themselves and are searching for answers. yeah i love this song, it got stuck in my head for days after i was in a christian bookstore and they played this song for over a hour!

"I've tried to hide, but I can't sleep at night" tried to hide from the reality of God, but they can't stop thinking about things they have heard that he has done or things they maybe have seen change in people around them when they get a relationship with Him. "we want the truth, give us the absulute, we need your help coz we've got nothing left to loose" they have been trying to solve everything their own ways and have now hit rock bottom, and so all they are interested in now is the absulute truth (God) "Don't talk if you aren't going to tell me the truth Don't tell me you know, you've got everything under control" backing up what i said about them not wanting to know anything but the truth, they dont want to hear anymore lies "We can't have it all, but we can break the fall This time I'm letting go 'cause I can't take it anymore" someone has told them that you'll never be totally free from pain or whatever, but when you have God you can atleast have help in times like that. they are finally letting go and accepting Christ because they know they need Him in their life to help them through.

Anyone could tell that this song is about the "absolute truth," hence the lyrics, "we need the TRUTH, give us the ABSOLUTE." DERRRR. Next time you post don't lie and act like you know what your talking about when your only stating the obvious. Fuck tard.

I read in a review of the album, it is about people who sugarcoat things and they just want people to be honest and show it as it really is.

just hang on trukillat hobz88 made me laugh...and how do we know his dads friend's youth pastor wasnt the drummer? what i think this song is about is being fed up. everyone thinks they have the absolute truth he wants to stop being fed lies and find out for real. no more playing around.
