Miracle Lyrics
Wonderful song, the best song on cd 2. lyrics make u wonder
here are the right lyrics: Crazy, but I believe this time Begging for sweet relief A blessing in disguise I'm dying behind these tired eyes I've been losing sleep Please come to me tonight
Hands on a miracle I got my hands on a miracle Believe it or not Hands on a miracle And there ain't no way I'll let you take it away
Everything that we've survived It's gonna be alright Just lucky we're alive Got no vision I've been blind Searching everywhere You're right there in my sight
This is the morning after "Best of You". The singer has calmed down and isn't as frustrated with the person he loves. In "Miracle" he is gently asking her to come to him. Just as in "Best of You" he isn't giving up "I swear I'll never give in, I refuse", in this song he says the same thing "There ain't no way I'll et you take it away". Clearly, the person he loves and wants to be with is resisting for some reason (another person in her life, I assume). But he is lamenting that this relaionship he has with her is too much of a miracle for them not to be together.
Its got to be about having a child
"Dying behind these tired eyes I've been losing sleep"
Keeping him up all night
" It's gonna be alright Just lucky we're alive"
The child makes him feel lucky to be alive.
" Hands on a miracle I got my hands on a miracle Leave it or not, hands on a miracle And there ain't no way Let you take it away"
Holding it for the first time.
It's a great song, i hope they still preform it and it hasn't been totally forgotten like most foo songs get.
Further proving your theory is that the song got played in Scrubs when Carla gave birth...oh right, spoiler alert...

The correct lyrics provided by Gracenote and posted on the MTV website are as follows:
"Crazy but I'm relieved this time Begging for sweet relief of blessing in disguise Dying behind these tired eyes I've been losing sleep, please come to me tonight
Hands on a miracle, I got my hands on a miracle Leave it or not, hands on a miracle And there ain't no way, let you take it away
Everything that we survived Its gonna be alright, just lucky we're alive Got no vision I've been blind Searchin' everywhere, you're right here in my sights
Hands on a miracle, I got my hands on a miracle Leave it or not, hands on a miracle And there ain't no way, let you take it away
Hands on a miracle, I got my hands on a miracle Leave it or not, hands on a miracle I got my hands on a miracle And there ain't no way, let you take it away
Take it away, take it away"
I believe it is a song for his wife, aka the mother of his child.
i hav a feelin these arent the rite lyrics
its "believe it or not, hands on a miracle" i think... and "searching everywhere" not every way
This song is so beautiful. I’m surprised there aren’t that many comments on it. It’s also one of Dave’s favourites on the album. It’s extra special because John Paul Jones (from led zeppelin) plays piano on it (Dave’s a huge led zeppelin fan – he sold his soul to the band when he was 17). I have no idea what the meaning is. Maybe he’s just referring to his whole life in general and everything amazing that he’s been part of from nirvana to foos and how it just feels like he’s got his hands on a miracle.
This song Is sooooo soooothing,....
I never knew Dave could consistently write good slow styled music like this.....
It's a shame the only way you can hear it is on the album, I think the radio could use a slow Foo's song every once in a while,
this song has recently been released as a single. I was surprised when I had first heard it playing on the radio. However, that was a few months ago and I haven't heard it played on the radio since then. i don't think it charted yet either. It's a shame since its such a good song.
