we're only made of water sand and stone
we're made of joy and make believe
we're only made of sky
sky, and its true
if you still believe in joy
even if the world is full of hate
we can blast away inside, way inside
you can stil believe in joy
even when the world is loss and pain
you can blast away inside, way inside
its no secret we have this little blue world
do you still believe in joy
and blast away at confusion and pain
no matter what you look like, or feel like
its no secret we have this little blue world inside

General CommentI love the lyrics to this song. To me, it's a reminder of our true nature, our true makeup as human souls. It speaks of our souls' innate innocence and purity. It is a purity that, with time, gets encrusted with the layers of adult life -- bringing with it cynicism, hate, dishonesty, and other ills of society. These layers cover up and obscure our true selves, our true, pure meaning. We can blast away inside: blast away all of those layers and get back to the purity, the little blue world, that always has lain underneath.
