Ha
I gotta tell ya
I'll make it better
But I know there's somethin' I needed to say
When I was out, though
Maybe you were better alone
I know I'll make it home

She told me sweet thang
Run a labour
In your shoes
Touch me til I follow in love
I wanna help her
Maybe we were better alone
I wanna show you how

And then we walked out
Make it made now
I said I want it but I never alone
I wanna show you
Maybe we were somethin' uncool
I wanna make you sing

Uh uh oh
Uh uh oh
Uh uh oh

The begining is Brandon singing on Dave's voicemail. When they couldn't meet up that's how they shared lyric ideas.

this song has always been on my pc as "untitled".It is one of my favourite songs, partially because it is relatively unknown compared to say "Somebody told me". Thankyou for telling me the title!! It is nice to fnd one song with not 500 entries of "OMG BRANDON FLOWERS IS SOOO SEXY!!" althougth i would say that i probably wouldn't disagree! The song is different to any song Ive heard recently and the beginning is v. clever. Anyway just wanted to say that i think the whole band are v. talented and I really love their stuff.

This song is soooo sexy. For some reason it reminds me of a coming of age type movie- it's the song that would be played when everything comes together near the end. At sunset. In the deserts of Vegas. Yeah I've thought about it alot!

Cajun Girl

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
