The sun is falling beneath a cloudless sky
The ocean holds the moon's reflection
The stars are clear to see just for you and I
Tonight will be nothing short of perfection

The waves roll in without a sound
I only notice that you're around
That's all I need to know that I'm alive
The wind blows through your silky hair
I never knew how much that I could care
And all I need is to have you by my side

You, you make me feel like I'm everything
I'm on top of the world with you
You make me feel I can do anything
I'd do anything, I'd do anything for you

The moon shines through illuminating your face
It's not the first time I've realized how beautiful you are
So as long as I can I'll hold you close and keep you safe
And somehow it feels you're still with me when we're apart
I'm holding you in my heart

As it gets late we say goodbye
It didn't seem we had much time
Why can't these moments last forever
A gentle kiss and then we leave
My heart is stopped, I can barely breathe
I only pray that we can stay together

You, you make me feel like I'm everything
I'm on top of the world with you
You make me feel I can do anything
I'd do anything, I'd do anything for you

You, you make me feel like I'm everything
I'm on top of the world with you
You make me feel I can do anything
I'd do anything, I'd do anything for you

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
