    General CommentSuch a heart-breaking song, especially if you're looking at it from the female perspective. To me, it's about a break up that isn't mutual. He is leaving his girlfriend, whom he once loved and who still loves him, to be with another person ('I think she knows bout me and you'). She is devastated, hopeless (she cries a hole in the ground). He is feeling bad, too ("this can't be right", "and I feel like such a creep") about the pain he is causing, but he is determined that he is leaving. ("'cos I'm leaving on the 1 am, by soon I'm out of sight")

    It's interesting that he says "she knows about me and YOU", as if the song is sung to his new love. So maybe the song is also about making his new love realize how much pain he had to cause in order for them to be together, and how difficult it is getting over the guilt.

    Or maybe it's about how although we tent to think how love lasts forever, it does not.

    I hate and love this song at the same time. Very few other songs have such a huge effect on me like this one, it does make me feel really sad.

    General CommentThe song explains itself. But more than that, i am surprised no one comments on this guy's music. He has a pretty damn good voice and some of his songs are just excellent. Beautifully written and full of emotion in them.

    My InterpretationMy sister interpreted this song as him talking to his lover, but the first time i heard this song, I interpreted as him talking to death, as him knowing that he would die very soon and being worried with his love...
