My heart is pounding
My stomach's inside out
I'm feeling find-a-shaky
My mind is full of doubt

All I ever think about
Is fearing fear itself
Wish I could unscrew my head
And put it on the shelf

You know I'm feeling kind-a...Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a...Strange

Everything is twisted
Everything is oh so tight
Don't know what I'm lookin' at
The lights are all too bright

My brain's about to crumble
Spill out on the floor
Sweep 'em up, Throw 'em away
Don't want 'em anymore

You know I'm feeling kind-a...Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a...Strange

Clouds race across the sky, Day turns into night
Still there are the questions, No answers in sight

Everything is twisted
Everything is oh so tight
Starin' out the window
Everything is just too bright

Brain's about the crumble
Spill out on the floor
Wish I could unscrew my head
And kick it out the door

You know I'm feeling kind-a...Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a...Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a...Strange
You know I'm feeling kind-a...Strange

the meaning here is pretty obvious. Joey is tripping badly! :p probably after taking LSD, shrooms or peyote. I'd say that rather the latter two. Or both? Probable first-timer.

My heart is pounding - his pulse has risen. My stomach's inside out - he feels like vomiting, probably shrooms' effect. I'm feeling find-a-shaky - typical to the state of being drugged shudders. My mind is full of doubt - he's asking himself 'what have I done', he already regrets taking drugs.

All I ever think about Is fearing fear itself - he's a bit scared of what he did to himself, the sensation is so new and unknown. Wish I could unscrew my head And put it on the shelf - he doesn't want it happening any more, he says to himself 'Oh God please make it stop' - but it won't stop. uh-oh, the poor guy's BAD TRIPPIN'!!! :)

You know I'm feeling kind-a...Strange - the feeling is so new to him, he's trying to name it but cannot come up with nothing more than trivial 'Strange'.

Everything is twisted - he's got halucinations. Everything is oh so tight - he feels like everything around him is trying to crush him. Don't know what I'm lookin' at - he's got visions of unreal things. The lights are all too bright - pupils are bigger now, letting inside his eye more light, thus the lights are dazzling him. My brain's about to crumble Spill out on the floor - he feels like the drugs have totally chopped his brain converting it into gooey mash. Sweep 'em up, Throw 'em away Don't want 'em anymore (and later) Wish I could unscrew my head And kick it out the door - obviously you can't live with such a brain.

Clouds race across the sky, Day turns into night - as the time passes... Still there are the questions - ...the trip won't pass (how much did he take?) No answers in sight - even worse he doesn't see it ending anytime soon.

That was probably when he became a genius player, and remains to this day, because the tripp has never passed ;)

Standing On The Edge Of Summer

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
