Tout Doucement Lyrics
I have no idea what this song is about or what she's singing, but it's one of my favorites on the CD. Does anyone around here speak French?
I speak french (i am french^^) I can traduce you if you tell me
All slow, all slow, all slowly Always, all slow, all slowly This way Life is amazing.
All slow, all slow, all slowly Always, all slow, all slowly This way Life, I understand it.
Never go too fast You got all the time you need Beware of the dynamite Take care of volcanos Of those young nervous ones Who don't know how to go
All slow, all slow, all slowly Always, all slow, all slowly This way Strolling prettily
Never go too fast Loving simply To get success Be very very prudent (cautious) Love will then come And snuggle up in your arms
All slow, all slow, all slowly Always, all slow, all slowly This way Strolling prettily Smiling prettily Strolling prettily All slowly
I believe that is the closest translation of the lyrics.
Thanks for the translation! I only know a tiny bit of French, so I didn't understand it all the way, but loved the song. Twenty times better when you know what it means!

the third verse reminds me of le petit prince probably bc of "prenez garde aux volcans"
I did a pointe dance to this song for a competition at the "french congres" for school, and I won first place. It's such a sweet and delicate song and has such a good meaning. Beautiful!
the translation just made this 5 billion times better. love feist!
Thank you k kris for the great translation! This song rocks whether you know the lyrics or not. My favorite Blossom Dearie song (at the moment) is her version of "Mad About the Boy" recorded at Ronnie Scott's in London. Hauntingly beautiful!
Hey zell, do you think you could translate it for us? I know what most of the words are but there are a few in there like blottir and flânant that I don't understand. Thanks!! P.S. I love the french songs
