"Perfectly" as written by Natalie Jane Imbruglia, Stephen Paul Robson, Sheppard J. Solomon and Paul Wescott....
When I say it doesn't matter
It matters most of all
You're not up for conversation
So I'm blinded by it all

The further away you push me
The closer I feel to you

Every fall
Every crash
Everything that was never meant to be
All the perfect little things I can't release
All the nights
Everytime we were just about to leave
Now makes no sense to me
But it seems that when we fall
That's when we land
Perfectly

Can't see what's before me
And I cannot feel the ground
This place that we exist in
Is the sweetest thing I've found

The further away you push me
The closer I feel to you

Every fall
Every crash
Everything that was never meant to be
All the perfect little things I can't release
All the nights
Everytime we were just about to leave
Now makes no sense to me
But it seems that when we fall
That's when we land
Perfectly

The further away you push me
The closer I feel to you

Every fall
Every crash
Everything that was never meant to be
All the perfect little things I can't release
All the nights
Everytime we were just about to leave
Now makes no sense to me
But it seems that when we fall
That's when we land
Perfectly

Perfectly
Perfectly

General Commentthis is probably one of the best songs off her newest cd. its written so beautifully. it seems like its just about getting in a fight with your partner and it all works out in the end.

General CommentThis song is so well written. I love the lyrics. Particularly "when i say it doesn't matter, it matters most of all". I can really identify with this- my exboyfriend and I used to argue a lot, and the sweetest moments are the times after the argument has passed because you're so glad it's over... you've landed "perfectly"... and also, the argument "makes no sense to me" afterwards. x
