Keep that shit outta my face.
Keep that shit outta this place.
Keep that shit to your fucking self.
Roll up your windows, shut your fucking doors.
That cig is cramping my style,
the pleasure is all yours.
Before you light that smoke remember you're the joke and you look like a tool.
Your breath smells like shit,
I'd rather suck a dick.
than be the one thats looks like a fool.
You're the joke.

I'm all for straight edge pride, but his lyric writing sucks.

I bet he wrote all of these songs in fifteen minutes.

Hmm yeah but I'd listen to the song just for the title. Hehe. It's awesome.

I like this song though. It's addictive. And, yes, very in your face. It doesn't really matter what the lyrics are, though, because you can barely tell what he's singing.

you are fucking retarded, this song has meaning. he is against smoking. he doesn't want to be around it, which i can understand because it fucking smells like shit. you are ruining your life, you are paying to get cancer, you are paying to kill yourself. he is telling everyone who smokes what he would rather do than to kill himself.

if you dont like casey jones and their lyrics than keep it to your fucking self. straight edge bands are that for a reason, its because theyre against drugs and alcohol. they dont appeal to people that do that for a reason, we fucking hate you.

xtruestoryx, you're the fucking type of dick that gives straight edge a bad name. Be straight edge for your fucking self and let other people live their own lives however they want. I'm straight edge to the fucking bone, but I'm not going to hate somebody because they choose to do drugs. That's just stupid and fucking ignorant. Grow up.

I love this song! Even if I weren't straight edge, I still have asthma and it ticks me off when people blatantly blow smoke around me or in my face, even when they see the straight edge shirt (though most of the time, it's what causes them to really try and do that, jerks.) or the inhaler. Which makes me wonder why straight edge gets a bad reputation, but smokers or pot smokers get sympathy? I'm glad they're banning smoking in public places, makes it easier for me to breathe.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
