Dreams of earthquakes
Dreams of hurricanes
Dreams of pouring rain
Dreams of tidal waves (to wash us all away)

Dreams of guns blazed
Dreams of fire, rage
Dreams of swollen graves
Dreams of hollow pain
All gone

No more fallen
No more enemy
No more casualty
No more dream

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
I have a dream
But nobody cares
Nobody wants to listen

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
Hang on to a dream
That nobody wants
Nobody cares anymore

Dreams of mourning grief
Dreams of disbelief
Dreams of tragedy
Dreams of our disease (to take us all away)

Dreams of fidelity
Dreams of inner peace
Dreams of loyalty
Dreams of unity
All gone, all gone

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
I have a dream
But nobody cares
Nobody wants to listen

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
Hang on to a dream
That nobody wants
Nobody cares anymore

The angels are injured
Fall with broken, burning wings
Are we dead inside?
Are we blind?
We can't keep moving forward
Backwards with closed eyes
We're losing sight
All lost inside

No more fallen
No more enemy

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
I have a dream
But nobody cares
Nobody wants to listen

Fall into sleep
Fall into me
Hang on to a dream
That nobody wants
Nobody cares
Nobody wants
Nobody cares anymore

All gone
All gone
All gone
All gone

well all i know is that it reminds me of the girl that i can't have anymore, unless she realizes i'm still waiting for her. But enough of my life. what i mean by that is where he says...

fall into me- i have a dream, but nobody cares, nobody wants to listen.

Fall into me is where she had strong feeling for me (she never said "i love you or anything of that sort, but i know she did). The dream is where she gets rid of her loser boyfriend and i take her (but thats only a dream). when nobody cares is where all the other people that have feelings torward me didn't have them like she did. if "nobody wants to listen", then i'll just have to wait for her to get rid of him, unless they have something special, or, i'll just have to wait until, i find someone else...until then, well, i dont know until then.

Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.
