We've done our time (we've done what you said)
Twitch through the night (I wish I was you violation)
So hold on tight

I watch her spin out of control (she spins)
I watch her spin out of control (she spins)
I watch her spin out of control (she spins)
I watch her spin!

And we are the ones who held you tightly
(the trigger is cold as blood
And your pain is now my depression)
And this feels like heaven

The sin has become a massive piece of mind,
I guess I ran it over a thousand times in my head,
I can say I never felt this way
Because your violation was only skin deep
I've ended your pain and written my own ending
I'm guilty but flawless
If this is justice, I'm your jury
The chamber is loaded
And now I have the shotgun riding shotgun

Your open door (this pain will pull me through this)
That leaves you helpless (this sorry plea that leaves you helpless)
But life won't wait

Why can't I just gain control (she spins)
Why can't I just gain control (and she spins)
Why can't I just gain control (she spins)
While I watch her spin!

And we are the ones who held you tightly
(the trigger is cold as blood
And your pain is now my depression)

This feels like heaven! Heaven!
A feeling of grief
But life won't wait
She spins She spins She spins!

And we are the ones who held you tightly
(the trigger is cold as blood
And your pain is now my depression)
And this feels like heaven
And we are the ones who held you tightly
(the trigger is cold as blood
And your pain is now my depression)
And this feels like heaven
And this feels like heaven
And this feels like heaven
And this feels

trippin off DXM and the end of the song ("..and this feels like heaven") almost go hand-in-hand. it trips me out everytime.

that speaking-verse is getting old and outdone though, i feel. feels as if i'm listening to Good Charlotte-Predictable when that joel dude starts bitching in his song.

i dont think these are right first line its " we've done our time, now i watch you sleep"

then instead of" the trigger is cold as blood" its " the trigger has called his bluff"

then its " this scene has become a masterpiece in my head" not "The sin has become a massive piece of mind"

instead of "I've ended your pain and written my own ending. " its " ive entered your pain and written my own ending"

last its " your door opens, this pain in frame has cured her illness. this sorry plea that leaves you helpless" not "Your open door (this pain will pull me through this) That leaves you helpess (this leaves you helpless)"

are you kidding me? you fucking idiot. NEVER, EVER compare A Static Lullaby to good charolette. thats like comparing hundred dollar bills to fucking pennies, you peice of shit. and since when did A Static Lullaby ever remind someone of the talentless DMX? you have got to be joking. have you ever actually listened to this song? granted, it's not the same as "...And Don't Forget To Breathe", but it's sure as shit not comparable to sold-out, consumer-tending good charolette, or that damn hood-rat DMX. and if anyone has a problem with me shitting all over DMX or good charolette, please feel free to IM me, send me an email or something and i'll educate you. thank you, kill yourself.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
