Everything is up to you, oh that you aware
yeah you know just what you gotta do, the heart must be fare
you got your advance
forget about your worries now, we all make mistakes
you gotta make it anyhow 'cause you got what it takes right

now here's your big chance
you gotta make a move now

'Cause you're free to be all that you want to
So never let the days pass by
There's not a thing in this world that you can't do
All you gotta do is try
And you want to, yeah, we all want to

You know you gotta have a goal, before it's too late
So come on, you just have to be careful
just make your own fate now
You gotta make an effort, you gotta make your move now

'Cause you're free to be all that you want to
So never let the days pass by
There's not a thing in this world that you can't do
All you gotta do is try
And you want to, yeah we all wanna learn to fly

Yeah I know it's not an easy mission
To keep your goals up and so high
'Cause I know you've got ambition
So don't deny, now all you gotta do is try

'Cause you're free now
Yeah, you're free to be all that you want to
But let it be now
So never let the days pass by
'Cause you're free to be all that you want to
So never let the days pass by
There's not a thing in this world that you can't do
now all you gotta do is try, and you want to
yeah we all want to

Songs like these are what split them off from the rest of the punk community. They don't have to write about drugs and depression to catch the public's eye

Thats the difference between bad and good bands. The good ones knows how to write about a cliche subject and make it make sense again.

It's so fucking positive and inspiring!

This song is one of the best on the kingwood-cd, i think. But is it wrong text on the verse. The right verse is:

Everything is up to you, of what you're aware. You know just what you gotta do, the hard past to dare. Got to advance. Forget about your worries now, we all make mistakes. You're gonna make it anyhow, cause you've got what it takes, right!? Now here's your big chance, you've gotta make your move now.

Cause you're free to be all that you want to, so don't ever let your dreams pass by. There's not a thing in this world that you can't do. Now all you've gotta do is try. And you want to, yeah, we all want to.

You know you've gotta have a go before is too late. So come on this chance you can not blow, Make you're on fate now. Got to make an effort, got to make your move now.

Cause you're free to be all that you want to, so don't ever let your dreams pass by. There's not a thing in this world that you can't do. Now all you've gotta do is try and you want to. Yeah, we all wanna learn to fly.

    Just wanna say this ;)

Awesome song. Makes you want to get off your ass and do something with yourself.

One of the least satisfying feelings in life is knowing you are not living up to your potential and giving life your all.

Satisfaction comes from action (root word) and hard work.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
