"Crash Diet" as written by and Mick Cripps Kelly Nickels....
I groove in stereo
She make the moves
I love the nasty girls
How 'bout them shoes
You are so pretty girl
I love ya thighs
Take a trip in my Cadillac
2 the wild side
17 Crash chaos all around me
17 Crash hot sticky sweet
You're coming back with me
Don't say a word
Fire's burning down below
Ice in my blood
I ain't no Romeo
No daddy sweet
Just a bit of rock n' roll
Found on the street
17 Crash chaos all around me
17 Crash hot sticky sweet
I bet you 10 2 1
Cause I fix the race
Put it down 2 xperience
A different kinda taste
O my pretty 1
Don't look so sad
Drink 2 me occasionally
And all the fun we had
17 Crash chaos all around me
17 Crash hot sticky sweet

General Commentthis is is about how an hard life is about... trying excess ('ludes is "quaaludes", an LSD), livin on the razors edge, and not givin a s**t about consequences.. this crazy life made you lsoe weight fast and in the most wrong way ever.. that's why rock stars are all so skinny.. and when they got rehab they become fat as hell ahahah

General CommentSeriously can anybody please tell me why this was never on an album? I believe it was recorded in 92.
Here are Either one of the reasons in my opinion

    1. It wouldn't go good on any of the Illusion albums so they didn't put it on those
    2. The band was already falling apart by the time they wrote it.

None the less this is one of my Favorite GnR song.

General Comment"We weren't thinking of Crash Diet when we put the Illusions albums together."
That's a quote from Slash on your question. I would kill for a studio version of this song from them, but the Asphalt Ballet song is a good replacement, and Axl sings backup on it.

General CommentIt was actually written in 1990. I wish it would have went on the Illusion albums also, when they were released in 1991. They probably never even recorded a studio version, you would think it would have leaked.

In the lyrics does he say "strain" or "pain"?? Also, I think the lines:
"You gotta be a brother, 'cos your family
Oh make it one more time oh make it
    Sweet mystery"
    actually are..
"You gotta be a brother, LOVE your family
DO it one more time..oh make it
    sweet HISTORY"

General Commenti've read that "crash diet" being the first two words in the title, was it's tentative title until it was later re-named "Sorry", which also happens to be coming up a lot on chinese democracy's track listings..
