"Sweet Soul Music" as written by Cooke, sam and Otis Redding....
Do you like good music
That sweet soul music
Just as long as it's swingin'
Oh yeah oh yeah

Out here on the floor now
We're going to a go go
Ah dancin' to the music
Oh yeah oh yeah

Spotlight on lou ralls why'all
Ah don't he look tall why'all
Singin' loves a hurtin' thing now
Oh yeah oh yeah

Spotlight on Sam and Dave now
Ah don't they look boss why'all
Singin' hold on I'm comin'
Oh yeah oh yeah

Spot light on Wilson Picket
That wicked picked picket
Singing mustang sally
Oh yeah, oh yeah

Spotlight on Ottis Redding now
Singing fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa
Fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa
Oh yeah, oh yeah

Spotlight on James Brown now
He's the king of them all yeah
He's the king of them all why y'all
Oh yeah, oh yeah

General CommentCorrections: "we are here on the floor now" is "Were out here on the floor, y'all" and "Ah dont he look tall, y'all" about lou rawls is "Ah dont he look boss, y'all" & about same and dave is "Ah, don't they look great, y'all" & about Wilson Pickett is "That wicked wicked pickett". I love this song you really can hear that unique Sam Cooke song writing style in it and yes Sam Cooke did write the song with help from Arthur conley and Otis Redding JR.
