So I knew there wasn't water in the lake,
But I jumped headfirst and speechless,
Hoped I'd hit the bottom and stop,
But I kept moving.
Hit down, knocked, I looked around,
But just found dirt between my rotted teeth.

Falling was the easy part and stopping was hard

I had sugar in the glass,
But you filled it with hot water.

All I really wanted was,
All I really wanted was,
All I really wanted...was you.

General CommentHe easily fell in love and jumped right in, knowing nothing would never come of it, but hoping that maybe he was wrong, but he wasn't. And getting over it is rough, son.
