I hope we've found our sweet release
I hope we've filled that hole in your soul,
I hope at last we get some peace
I hope the light shines on we as one

They'll never be enough to love
The river's deep and the road is long
And every which way we turn
Know it seems insane
But it makes me feel alive

Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out loud when I'm alive

As we wish the world away
D'ya think it's all a dream cos that's what it seems
Every night we hope and pray
That we can do enough to keep our love
They'll never be enough to love
The river's deep and the road is long
And every which way we turn
Know it seems insane
But it makes me feel alive

Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out loud when I'm alive
Shout it out
Shout it out.

Another cracking song that nobody has commented on. Again i think this is really underated. The tune is cracking. As with all Oasis songs the lyrics are pretty vague, probably just a general feeling at having a new gf and being happy.

This song is one of very few songs that can really reach out to my soul, and touch it. It's brilliant. It should have been on the album.

This song is beautiful. The melody is amazing... Another master piece of Noel.

This is another one of those noel b-sides that i think is really powerful. theres a few of them about and i dont think they get the recognition they deserve. If this had been by a singer song writer it would definitely be on their album. Just shows how gifted Noel is...

Not sure where this songs from other than the Stop Crying Your Heart Out Bside but I notice atleast in the intro and in the guitar solo in the middle theres a HUGE relation to Pink Floyd

CORRECTIONS, GUYS--- I hope we've filled that hole in your soul ---> I hope I filled that hole within your soul (RIGHT) They'll never be enough to love ----> there'll never be enough to love (RIGHT) Know it seems insane

    Song Meaning

this is a sad song, he sang hope all the time while knowing there's actually none of it. I think it's about Liam, just as most of Noel's songs are. It's like elephant in the room, I wonder why you guys keep your mouth closed on this issue. Without Liam, he would amount to nothing. No one else can trigger a feeling so deep and so obsessive, not his missus or whichever bird.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
