Nobody loves a fat girl
But oh how a fat girl can love
Nobody seems to want me
I'm just a truck upon the highway of love

I'm all alone inside of my form
When every ounce of me is dyin' to keep somebody warm
Nobody loves a fat girl
But oh how a fat girl can love

Nobody loves a fat girl
But oh how a fat girl can love
Nobody seems to want me
I'm just a truck upon the highway of love
The only game I can get the boys to play
Is to have them sit around and try to guess how much I weigh
Nobody loves a fat girl
But oh how a fat girl can love, pretty mama
Oh how a fat girl can love

Love the artist, but had to look this song up online as I hadn't realized it was one of his. Obvious and sad meaning, but perfect for today. Someone near and dear to me (has to be) just called to schedule an appoitment for a medical weight loss diet. She did it for HER and no one else, and I'm sure she feels GREAT about it. Sadly, having the wrapping paper is most important in our society. It opens doors from God's most visual creatures: men. Sad, simple tune, but not necessarily true. Men of quality know what's important in a woman. Let's not sell all of them short. There are many wonderful men out there who don't put looks first on their list, thank god...

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
