"Eastern Glow" as written by and Paul Arthur Jenkins Jimmy L Lavalle....
one by one, we force ourselves, we turn it on, it comes in waves.
we try to find, but maybe this time, don't turn your head,
its easy to forget, how we were.

once inside, we've made it here, we struggle with the lies, that never go away.
what have we learned, its the same old thing.

that traps us hear, and never goes away, we are chained.
through the tides, make your way you will find the time,
a comfort inside here I wait, in this safe place,
where we were so many years ago, so many years ago.

one by one, we closed our eyes, and returned to that place, as a thousand nights go by.
one by one, we close our eyes and return to that place, and a thousand nights went by.

General CommentThe violin, the drumms.. This song is magic. Can't believe people can make music this good.
Don't know if it is about nostalgia, but it makes me feel so.

General Commenti first heard this song on the o.c. mix 2. i'm not quite sure what it means. when it says
    "Try to find
    Maybe this time
    Don't turn your head
it's easy to forget how we were"
maybe it's talking about history and how it's easy to forget how things were and that we take advantage of things everyday. just a random thought.

General CommentThis is a great band. I don't know how far the post-rock genre will go, but the original sounds these guys make are more than just catchy. They are inventive and place The Album Leaf ahead of the game. Musically, they create the perfect blend of instruments to simply chill to.

General Commenthaha i heard it off of the OC too. but i don't remember what episode it played in the first season. and if it plays when marissa calls ryan does that mean it's in the second season too? can somebody tell me? but ya i agree that it's a great great song. i always go to musicfromtheoc.com and listen to that song.

General CommentThe whole post-rock genre seems to be a fad right now, but i just find the music so moving and it tells stories without even saying any words. The Album Leaf creates original rythyms and instrument arrangements. I haven't heard this song on the OC, because i don't really watch that show much but i am sure that it fit the scenerio very well.
