This song is obviously about Star Wars. It describes all that makes up the energies in the Force.
Actually, it is obviously about the four forces (elements) of nature:
- Gravity - The always attractive force that acts on all mass.
- Electromagnetic - Can be attractive or repulsive (magnet). Acts only on electrically charged matter and is the cause of light and electricity.
- Strong force - Holds the nuclei of atoms (protons and neutrons) together. Sub categorized as a nuclear force.
- Weak force - The cause of beta (radioactive) decay. Also has to do with "Strange particles", and is the other nuclear force.
The lyrics seem to explore the idea of unifying these forces under one mathematical construct; such as string theory or M theory. Though I am not sure what the mentioned "fifth" element is. Perhaps something to do with dark matter or antimatter?
