"I Won't Be Left" as written by and Tegan Quin Sara Quin....
I won't mistake you for problems with me
I won't let my moods ruin this, you'll see
I won't take everything good and move it away
I won't be left dancing alone to songs from the past
Would you stay home and keep our memories warm with me
Would you give all your love for a run at the past with me
I know you're sad even though you say that you're not
I know you're scared even though you say that you're not
I won't get mad when you say things are getting too hard
I won't make all of your love so scared to come through our yard
I won't scream in my head and let it isolate me
I won't be left dancing alone to songs from the past.

General CommentTo me this song is about wanting to get back together with an ex...still being in love with them.

But I did hear something about it being about their dad.

General CommentThis song reminds me of my 'Big' ..sex and the city fans will get what i mean!

"i know you're sad even though
    you say that you're not"
she's smart, she's the perfect girlfriend and according to every living human, she's the kindest girl you'll meet... but i know youre not happy with her.

"i know you're scared even though
    you say that you're not"
I know youre scared that if you leave her, i might not stick around.

Just so you know, months ago i would have. but i'm smarter now.
    Goodluck with your simple girl.

General Commentwell, yeah they are lesbians. But I don't see how this would affect the beauty of their music.....so why ask?

General Commentin a bootleg, one of them said they were talking to their dad on the phone (who is divorced from their mom) and he was listening to a song that he used to listen to with their mom, or something. and tegan/sara was thinking, "how could he do that?" that's what "i won't be left dancing alone to songs from the past" is from.

General Commentwell i dont see why a few of you are saying that they are lesbians, cause they are twin sisters....you must be confused with tatoo lol. and thatpartydress has it right. i know ive listened to songs from the past in hopes it might bring it all back, and this song is just about being strong and letting go

    General CommentTo angelundergravity11:

    T & S = So totally gay...
    t.A.T.u. = 100 % STRAIGHT!

Yeah, Tegan and Sara are twin sisters. What has that to do with their sexual orientation? They're not dating each other or anything, ya know... Both of them have repeatedly stated the fact that they're gay, just so you know. Also it's easy to tell from their lyrics. (And OMG, are those girls wicked hot, or what?! *Drool*)

As for t.A.T.u., they both have boyfriends. The whole "lesbian thing" was just a publicity stunt. They wanted the attention, I guess. Stupid fakers... Their music is all right, though.
