This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.
I fall to pieces
Each time I see you again
I fall to pieces
How can I be just your friend?
You want me to act like we've never kissed
You want me to forget (to forget)
Pretend we've never met (never met)
And I've tried and I've tried
But I haven't yet
You walk by and I fall to pieces
I fall to pieces
Each time someone speaks your name (speaks your name)
I fall to pieces
Time only adds to the flame
You tell me to find someone else to love
Someone who love me too (love me too)
The way you used to do (used to do)
But each time I go out with someone new
You walk by and I fall to pieces
You walk by and I fall to pieces
Each time I see you again
I fall to pieces
How can I be just your friend?
You want me to act like we've never kissed
You want me to forget (to forget)
Pretend we've never met (never met)
And I've tried and I've tried
But I haven't yet
You walk by and I fall to pieces
I fall to pieces
Each time someone speaks your name (speaks your name)
I fall to pieces
Time only adds to the flame
You tell me to find someone else to love
Someone who love me too (love me too)
The way you used to do (used to do)
But each time I go out with someone new
You walk by and I fall to pieces
You walk by and I fall to pieces

This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.
Just A Little Lovin'

I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example:
"'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
This song is obviously about unrequited love.
I fall to pieces Each time I see you again I fall to pieces How can I be just your friend
She's heartbroken everytime she sees him so her wound opens up. He probably told her "Let's be friends, we're not good as lovers". Hinting that maybe they gave it a try and it didn't work out for him.
You want me to act like we've never kissed You want me to forget, pretend we've never met And I've tried and I've tried but I haven't yet You walk by, and I fall to pieces
Again hinting at the fact that they had a "romance" once probably not a relationship but assuming she thought it was going to be one.
You tell me to find someone else to love Someone who'll love me, too, the way you used to do But each time I go out with someone new You walk by and I fall to pieces
He wants her to occupy her thoughts elsewhere and on someone else. He may have just told her he loved her because that's what she wanted to hear.
Like I said unrequited love.
@Ericawithac Unrequited love? mmm-kay But it is obviously MORE than that.

This is additionally FORBIDDEN LOVE.
The protagonist... most would say Patsy Cline is the protagonist... but she did not write it.
Sings that the antagonist... the person she falls to pieces over... doesn't want anyone to know that they have ever kissed... but what is the harm in knowing they have kissed unless it is FORBIDDEN LOVE.
If they had just hooked up 1 time or a couple times or if they had courted/dated etc... then WHY should the antagonist care that people know they had kissed?

So JUST KISSING is a SCANDAL in this story for the antagonist... and the protagonist complies to also avoid the SCANDAL.
Is the antagonist MARRIED and if so... he or she has obviously been MARRIED since BEFORE the 2 lovers ever met... and this has been ADULTERY. OR maybe the antagonist is ENGAGED to be married.
Is this a GAY AFFAIR? The song was written by 2 Men.
Is this a case of MISCEGENY? An Interracial Scandal... Intertribal Scandal?
Is this a case of INCEST? Sometimes people really LOVE their family.
Is this the Maid or the Chauffer having an Affair with the Lord or Lady of the House?

All we know for certain from these Lyrics is that this love is FORBIDDEN.
