Love is all around you now
So take a hold
Hidden in our words
It sometimes ain't enough
Don't suffocate day after day
It's building up
Cause when you're feeling weak
You know I'm strong enough

Just one more day
One more day

Oh, let the world crash
Love can take it
Oh, let the world come crashing down
Oh, let the world crash
Love can take it
Love can take a little
Love can give a little more

Love is indestructible
So take a hold
Sometimes hard to find
A reason good enough
I'll stand beside you
Never leave through it all
And faith will bring a way
To the impossible

Just one more day
One more day

Oh, let the world crash
Love can take it
Oh, let the world come crashing down
Oh, let the world crash
Love can take it
Love can take a little
Love can give a little more

You can find me
You can find me
You can find me anywhere
Take a look over your shoulder
I'll be standing there
Standing there

Love is all around you now
So take a hold
And faith will bring a way
To the impossible

Just one more day
(You can find me, You can find me)
One more day
(You can find me anywhere) (2x)

Let the world crash
Love can take it
Oh, let the world come crashing down
Oh, let the world crash
Love can take it
Love can take a little
Love can take a little
Love can take a little
Love can give a little more
A little more

Take a little more
Take a little more

I thought the same as all of you when I first heard ths song, but now I think that "love" might actually be synonymous to God. Skillet is Christian band which is the main reason I thought that, but you can also replace the word love with God everytime it says it in the song and it still makes perfect sense. It's just saying that no matter what is going on in your life or how awful things are, God is always going to be there for you.

Well, yesterday I was coming home from camp and listening to this song, and I realized what it meant. I think it means that love can take anything, no matter how much it is. Your world could crash down all around you and your life be destroyed, but love can give you so much more if you just reach out and take it.

    My Opinion

I think that some of you guys are missing the most important part of the song. Yes, love is a guy giving a girl flowers and all that romantic stuff. Yes, love is the way you will always stand up for your family and friends, but most of all love is showing an act of random kindness to someone even if they don't deserve it.

For example, the disaster in Hati, we helped them by sending money and people over and many other wonderful things. We didn't help Hati because they are going to pay us or give us anything in return. We did it out of love and compassion even though we don't nessasarilly no anybody there personally! If the world crashed, through love we help each other, love can take it!

So like the song says "let the world crash, love can take it!"

I think this song is talking more about friendship-love than romance-love. When things get hard, most people go to their friends for advice and support. Just being there when you're at your lowest point is considered the best test of a true friendship. That kind of bond is darn near indestructable.

I agree! I think it is like a friend who is helping this person through a rough time. Its like this person maybe thinks that family or just everyone in general doesn't love him/her. But her friend is telling her that they love her but they show it in weird ways. But even when it seems like they don't love her, her friend will always be there. When it says one more day i think the friend it telling her to give tomorrow a chance. Its like my oldest sister (also my best friend) says "Don't dwell on what happened today ....there is always tomorrow!"

Well those work but I've always thought, for the most part, it's more about a marriage. Many people get married and then devorce soon after for differnt reasons and I've always seen this as more of a "stay together and don't give up" song. No matter what happens in your realationship, love is still stronger and will always find away through whatever struggle. Of course if you happened to have married a psycho or something then thats differnt :P

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
