"History" as written by William David South, Brendon Arthur James, Thomas William George Welham and Adam Michael Wilson....
Your shadow, I will show you something different
I will only stop you drifting so far

People, get down on your knees for the crowd
People, get down on your knees for the crowd
People, get down on your knees for the crowd

You're no one, I connect a little in disguise
I reflect a little in your eyes

People, get down on your knees for the crowd
People, get down on your knees for the crowd
People, get down on your knees for the crowd

You wake up, set your distances miles apart
When you go, I'll be there anyway
Your head up, up above where you put your love out of reach
But I'm there anyway

General CommentHmmm...first person to comment on this song...okay, better make it good.

I fucking love this song! It's so quiet yet there's a power behind it that brings me into the song. Although, that album can be bland at times, songs like this bring it to life.

To be perfectly honest, I can't think of a meaning for this song. It's just a beautiful little track...with the great lines

"You Wake Up, Set Your Distances Miles Away" - great vocals.

General CommentI think this song is about one way love. Probably about someone who is in love with some very faimus person: "Up above where you put your love out of reach"
