The Sweat Descends Lyrics
The sweat scents
One cock sure fox in a house of hens
My mouth will water where the sweat descends
lets hope this party never ends
A shiv in the ribs,
Some smoke in the hive,
You live how you live I'll die how i die
Let me sleep if we go to hell.
Blame my mouth if the house is burning,
Check my tongue if you still cant tell
My psyche bends,
I'll never be the same again.
This soul is twisted but the skin will mend.
My tight young skin covers up a sick palimpsest.
Let me sleep if we go to hell.
Blame my mouth if the house is burning,
Touch my tongue if you still cant tell
Slip across the present tense,
Press up against the skin you care for,
Meet me where the sweat descends

correction: it's not "palimpest" it's "palimpsest" which means a a manuscript on which an earlier text has been effaced and the vellum or parchment reused for another. (essentially a reusing of "skin" since in medieval times that's what most manuscripts were made of). just thought it was an interesting fact, given all the skin imagery.
this song rules.

fixed. Indeed its one of my favourites

Harrington sure knows how to play with words, eh?
Delightful!

god i wanna kick some ass when i listen to this

this song probably describes a wild party that a narrator hopes to never forget.."let's hope this party never ends...a shiv in the ribs..." that means he's having a decent time..he doesn't care what happens to him or more correctly to his soul..("wake me up when we go to heaven, let me sleep when we go to hell").it's the ball he's having that matters.he's totally damaged by the fun, maybe by some drugs also?...("my psyche bends")..anyway he wants to have a night of fun despite what happens next and gets us to enjoy as much as he does("make your mark on a darkened dance floor").gosh,if I was ever to LSF concert,I'd jump and twist myself dead to that song.to me it's a classy party crasher that is a call to arms and legs ,an anthem ordering us to pull shit out of life and to feel hapiness.that's what this smash hit means to me. love LSF

After seeing them a couple times this past weekend, I think this is Tim/LSV talking about their shows, and that last stanza is an invitation to the fans to meet them for some real life affirming/draining chaos.

I think this was covered by Art In Manilla.

Is it not "Fuck my tongue" on the second one?
