I will never bother you
I will never promise to
I will never follow you
I will never bother you
never say a word again
I will crawl away for good
I will move away from here
You wont be afraid of fear
no thought was put into this
I always knew it would come to this
things have never been so swell
I have never felt this well

Pain...(3x)
You Know You're Right(3x)

I'm so warm and calm inside
I no longer have to hide
let's talk about someone else
sterling silver begins to melt
nothing really bothers her
she just wants to love herself
I will move away from here
you wont be afraid of fear
no thought was put into this
I always knew it would come to this
things have never been so swell
I have never felt this well

Pain...(5x)
You Know You're Right(17x)
Pain.

Please don’t tell me Limp Bizkit covered this amazing Nirvana song...First The Who and now Nirvana???!?!? Know what’s funny? Fred Durst said he idolizes Kurt Cobain and wants to make an impact on the world like he did. I don't know many people at all who would be at all as upset if Fred killed himself. His lyrics are laughable and absurd. He is extremely over cocky with nothing to base it on. He has no musical talent whatsoever. He has to make up stories about having sex with Britney Spears and Halle Berry because in reality no girl would want to be with him. He's fake and just as processed as those artists like Britney Spears. I feel like President Bush should declare a national tragedy every time some adolescent boy spends $15 on Fred’s music, if you can even call it that….On the other hand, Kurt Cobain wasn't fake and he was a poetic genius. No matter how hard he tries, Fred could never even be an ounce of what Cobain was and always will be.

It wasn't just murdering The Who and Nirvana. He also covered Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here". He murdered what is, in my opinion, one of the greatest rock songs of all time.

No, he covered it in a concert, I read about it on MTV.com. Might have been on Family Values, or Projekt Revolution (if they were on one of those) - some big tour with other bands. The one Korn got fans to do karaoke of Freak On A Leash at, I believe.

Fred Durst should never have touched this song, and the lyrics have been changed. Whether it's by Durst or whoever entered them, it shouldn't have happened.

    WHAT

    THE

    FUCK?!?!?!?

Why in the hell is a Nirvana song being covered by Limp Bizkit?

First off.... let me start by saying this......Fred Durst and LP brought down rock music, and only now is it starting to get back on it's feet...

but for a band that wrote the silage known as "rollin" to even consider covering this song is a disgrace in of itself to music....

What the fuck was going through their minds????

"ohh both our fans are gonna love this song because of the slow vocals and driven grunge style guitar!!!!"

then they play and bulk and skul are like what the fuck this song sucks!!!!

and then Fred is like ohhh well you know your right....

and every dipshit at the family values tour shares in a brady bunch moment where everyone laughs at the expense of not taking seriously a song writeen by one of the greatest fucking bands of all time!!!!.....

Fred should know his role and shut his hole.......

Think about How Kurt would feel if he was still alive?

What would his opinion of Durst be?

I dont even want to taint my ears by giving this song a chance........ Behind blue eyes was bad enough....... they took out the guitar solo...... one of the greatest things known to mankind, a guitar solo...... was taken out of the song and replaced with a ................

    See~N~Spell...........

    L.I.M.P. say it discover......

yeah discover my foot up Fred Dirt's ass........

no one can possibly piss me off more than Fred........

If he wasn't such a Greedy money whore, I might have a smidge of respect for him...

but even if Fred was to start clean and go abck in time, he could becuase he is so pathetic........

You cannot understand the frustration i feel over that mere fact!!!! that LP covered a nirvana song.....

Whats next, Linkin Park covering Jesus Christ Pose?

or even Korn Covering Pearl Jam or BULLSHIT!!!!

If any of these shitty bands ever covers a good song again, I am gonna send out letter bombs........

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
