"My Heart" as written by and Neil Young....
Rainin' in my heart
Since we been apart
I know I was wrong
Baby please come home

You got me cryin'
'Bout to lose my mind
Don't let me cry in vain
Try my love just once again

Spoken:
Honey, I need your love
Darlin', you know why
If you would come back home
There'll be no need for me to cry

Sings:
Rainin' in my heart
Since we been apart
I know I was wrong
Baby please come home

General CommentThis song came out about the time that my lover left me and I felt abandoned and alone. I knew that somehow I had to keep going.
And I love the tack piano that Neil used for this song.

My OpinionKurt Cobain quoted Young in his suicide note ("It's better to burn out than to fade away"), and it allegedly struck Young hard with disappointment, anger, frustration, and sadness. Having lived most of my life being completely misunderstood, I still can only imagine the horror that such a "shout out" would do. Cobain seems to haunt the entire "Sleeps with Angels" album. This is one of the loveliest ballads of almost-dead hope (and resolution to find it even though it appears to be nowhere) that I’ve ever heard. Gorgeous track. Thank you, Neil.
