"Ghosts Of Past Failures" as written by Matthew Bachand, Jason Bittner, Jonathan Donais, Brian Fair and Paul Romanko....
The ghosts of past failures

Facing the reality
Of our own imperfections

The waves crash without warning
Overwhelmed and short of breath
Never able to escape
The bloodstains upon your hands

I AM! Still bleeding you
From wounds you've never known
I AM! Still bleeding you
From wounds you've never known

The core of our being
Torn out and cast aside

I never looked this far away
Never saw what lies ahead
In the midst of false comfort
The scars were hidden but never healed

General CommentIt is about the hurt we keep inside, the pain no one sees. This pain haunts us like ghost and this ghost has come from our past failures. oh shit that the title of the song. who would have thought that. but this is a great song

General CommentThis song doesn't get nearly the praise it's due.

I think the meaning is fairly self-explanatory. Such failures are always unseen, otherwise, we wouldn't have made them. Our failures haunt (bleed) us for as long as we let them, we might not even realize it.

General CommentI think lyrics says :
    What you don't know
    You don't understand
I mean sometimes we don't see our mistakes
But they affect us and haunt us

One of the songs that got me into SF
