"Demo Car City" as written by Christopher Michael Birch, Sergio Armando Coronado, Asa Steven Dawson, Nicholas Adam Dodson and Andrew Paul Wildrick....
I'm driving towards towers tops burning red
Sunny day and your real estate will drive me home
Stay off the main roads for me
Because I grew up in demo car city

This is how you waste a friend and I won't call you on it
This is what it's like to bend and I can't break for anyone
This is what I wanted when I had everything
This is how you waste a friend and I won't call you on it

When can I become? When will this be routine?
Because you know that's all I have for me
Stay off my back for me

General CommentI love this band. They're so different. Uhm, I can't believe I'm the first person to post on them, but they're going to be huge! This song is amazing. Can't wait to see them @ Hamilton Cafe!

General CommentThey're a really good band. Ive grown tireless seeing all this good talent go to waste in the wake of some of the bands that are becoming "mainstream" on the radio. They're playing a more old school style of indie I like.

General CommentI grew up with the leader singer, Asa, and this song has some base with where he grew up. His hometown has nothing but demo cars and people live and die by demolition derbys.

General CommentMy brother is the lead singer for this band. So for anyone that wanted to know,
-"Tower tops burning red" is a reference to the blinking red cell phone towers on Asa's drive back home.
-On those trips, he would listen to Sunny Day Real Estate.
-The town we grew up in has one claim to fame, demolition derbies.

The entire song is basically a reference to driving home to Griggsville, Illinois, home of "demo car city".
The rest of the song is pretty literal.

    Hope this helped.
