Under a Honeymoon Lyrics
From another one that got away
So I'm your latest cup of tea
To keep your cold hands company
And I will warm you
I will calm you down
Until those waters
Are ready to be sailed upon
Under a honeymoon
At least not this early
We decide to hold nothing back
We'll act how we want to act
And so, eventually, we became really good actors
Acting and reacting and acting and reacting
Under a honeymoon
We tell ourselves to act surprised
We're comforted in our denial
That dark love can be reconciled
Oh please, oh please, reconcile me
From all these bad actors
All these bad endings
We want what we're not and we don't want to stop
Because it feels right
Or at least it's feeling good
Caught beneath the glow of a honeymoon

Funny story about this song. I was just at a Good Life show about two hours ago and some drunk asshole kept yelling "HONEYMOON" whenever there was a break between songs, or even during songs. Tim Kasher finally looked at him and said "Who the fuck is this guy? Someone get him a mic. And for the record, I fucking hate Under a Honeymoon. I tried to keep it from being on the record."
Just thought it was funny.

"cause if feels right or at least it's feeling good."
I absolutely love this song.

His voice is gorgeous on this one!

I think this is the best song on Album of The Year. I like the acoustic version a lot more.

I just heard this song today.
Lovely, really.

While this song is great, one single line makes it: "ACTING and ReActing, and acting and reacting" Kasher's voice...!

beautiful song about rushing into a relationship, and to some extent, denying that it's not based on a strong foundation.
Since my family hails from Omaha, I am sorta obligated to like Tim Kasher. I mean, my grandpa taught at Creighton when Tim was there, and my uncle is the head chef at the Happy Hollow Country Club. I basically have Tim Kasher/Cursive in my blood. =)

Undoubtedly, my favourite Good Life song. Thepetdetective: You don't have to like Tim Kasher, it's impossible not to like Tim Kasher. :) I'm from Omaha too, we are possibly the most fabulous city ever.

This song--it gets to me. I get sort of nauseated, but in a good way. I think about a certain person every time I hear it. It gives me chills.
