And if you'll see Andmoreagain
Then you will know Andmoreagain
For you can see you in her eyes
Then you feel your heart beating
Thrum-pum-pum-pum

And when you've given all you had
And everything still turns out
Bad, and all your secrets are your own
Then you feel your heart beating
Thrum-pum-pum-pum

And I'm
Wrapped in my armor
But my things are material
And I'm
Lost in confusions
'Cause my things are material

And you don't know how much
I love you
Oh, oh, oh

And if you'll see Andmoreagain
Then you might be Andmoreagain
For you just wish and you are here
Then you feel your heart beating
Thrum-pum-pum-pum

And I'm
Wrapped in my armor
But my things are material
And I'm
Lost in confusions
'Cause my things are material

And you don't know how much
I love you
Oh, oh, oh

    My Interpretation

It's a song about a co-dependent relationship. The narrator is both deeply in love with a girl, but at the same time very dependent on a drug/alcohol/behavior that the girl is also addicted to. And sometimes when he sees the temptation, it gets hard to for him to tell which one of the two is what tempts him: the girl or the drug? Is the excitement he feels the true love for his girl or the rush that the drug gives him? At some point, both feelings become so extreme and entrancing that he starts feeling like kissing the girl and doing the drug gives him the same strong response. In the end, all that matters is his heartbeat being accelerated, be it from his lover or his drug. It's all the same in the end, and the feelings merge into one.

    My Interpretation

I'm not quite sure what the lyrics mean, but I'd like to think it's about a pair of lovers who have had their problems. The singer is deeply in love with AndMore but it didn't turn out well because of one reason for another. He tried all he could and it didn't go well. His heart beats faster when he thinks of her. He tries to get over her with things, but they are just material and provide no real relief. Beautiful song.

This song is great. I don't quite get the title and who exactly Andmoreagain is alluding to. Wonderful guessing game, I guess.

There was a song on their first album called And More. So I don't know if this was intended to be a sequel of sorts or what. All I know is that the chord changes in this song are just so cool.

It's funny without actually looking at it I thought 'andmoreagain' was an anagram for 'armageddon'.

Feels like an anticapitalism song to me.

And more again being that never ending quest for the newest thing to buy. More, more, more. "For you just wish and you are here" imagery of people glued to TVs, watching commercials, imagining themselves with the next best thing. Then the emptiness that you can honestly feel in the song, and that lyric...."but my things are material." Keep watching though..there will be a new, even better things to buy.

In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
