Well I'm awake under this blanket of fear
Go outta my sight
None of the people I see be lying
Now I'll be once asleep
I'm awake and I'm dreaming
I believe it's time for the rude awakening

[Chorus]
So hold on to your dreams
Because your nightmares might seem like your reality
Hold on to your dreams
Because your nightmares might seem like your reality

I believe the only thing we have to fear is
Fear itself, and the man behind the content
I heard him say: dreamers are becoming endangered species
And I'm aware of the rude awakening

[Chorus]

I'm falling in my dream; I finally hit the ground
I'm falling in my dream; I finally hit the ground
I hit the ground
Because I, I can't keep my mind from going into dark places
â??Cause I, I can't keep my mind, we're going into dark places

[Chorus]

I'm falling in my dream, I finally hit the ground
I'm falling in my dream, I finally hit the ground

I think this song is about not giving your dreams/wants up even if you've hit rock bottom, and your life just seems like a nightmare. And even if your dream falls apart, you can still go for other dreams even if it seems like all the good stuff is over.

This is an amazing song! It has to be one of the sweetest and sickest songs lyrically on the album. This song and Getting Away With Murder definitely have a really evil, sick feel to them.

I'm not really too sure what this song is about although I think it might be something to do with politics...he's "awake under the blanket of fear" but everyone else is asleep. Just a thought...

I love their music with a passion. But most of their songs bring back such hard times and horrible memories that im trying to forget. Their songs throw me back into those times when I was at rock bottom and my life was hell. Their songs gave me strength when I was at my worst. Their album 'Getting Away With Murder' changed my life.

This song is amazing, if you ever felt fear for anything, or weren't ready to take risks, this song means a lot to you. It's about not giving up, when your dreams are not working out, or when the nightmare becomes reality. It pretty much means that if a nightmare can be true, so can a dream, but you gotta hit rock botton (wake up and come back to reality) to make it. LOVE IT! LOVE IT! LOVE IT!

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
