Seven Years

the darkness, the dim lights, the ocean washing in
the quiet, the warm nights, the cold we live in
summer is here with its long lazy days
keeps us awake like we've slept seven years
the cold drinks we take will just stregnthen our will
acting on action, we'll brave no regrets
we're hoping that sunrise will take so much longer
so the last nights we spend are the longest of summer
days gone by
