"Uncle Mountain" as written by and W. Goldsmith J. Enigk....
I can hear you talking
We're doing all the walking
I'm stuck here in the middle
At war with good and evil
I can hear you talking
I'm doing all the walking now
What strange your advice will
Believing you can fly
Rhythm of mind

Don't want to spend my time being afraid of dying
I really want to do good
I drown in a world of pity and sorrow
Been immersed within the light
What was I looking to find
Run alone to the sea
I want love if love wants me
I want god if god wants me
I just can't hold on to what I believe

General CommentThis is a song to God...I can relate to this song so much. "I want God if God wants me / I just can't hold on to what I believe"... I've felt this a lot, but God's always there for you to get you through. I just need to remember to be honest and open to Him.

General CommentI have a sinking suspicion that most of The Fire Theft's songs don't make much sense, even though they are good. It seems that this is song is about a person who is living a bad life, and no one seems to understand it very well, and wants things to get better, and hopes that people will want him and realize his life.
