Come Again Lyrics

As a child I found myself alone
Always walking in defense
Here they come again
All I want to do was just get home
But I'm pinned to the fence
But here they come again

I walked home all alone

All this and more
All this and more

I guess this is living
Would you come again?
Could you come again?
I never quite feel right
But I come again
Would you come again?

Yes I've become a rock and roll cliché
Because I 'm looking for revenge
And here they come again

I still walk home alone

All this and more
All this and more

I guess this is living
Would you come again?
Could you come again?
I never quite feel right
But I come again
Would you come again?

All this and more
All this and more

I guess this is living
Would you come again?
Could you come again?
I never quite feel right
But I come again
Could you come again?

I guess this is living
Would you come again?
Could you come again?
You never quite feel right
But you come again
Would you come again?

I agree with redcoral as well...and I love the melody changes of this song. You can really feel Ian's emotion.

My Opinion

Great rock song. I got the impression that it might be an authobiographical song about Ian. He was an odd kid growing up, being picked on, then growing up to be a rock star. He still has the same childhood insecurities of not fitting in, and questioning the fans if they'll "come again" to his shows so he can live this life.

yeah, redcoral is prolly right...but that still doesnt make sence of the chorus..es... great song, never gets old. i dont know how anyone gets 'addictive relationship' out of this :S

Alright so I have heard what this song is about from Ian's own mouth, during an interview at 102.1 the edge, in Toronto. Quick facts: Ian grew up in the Adelaide st area in the city of Toronto. Still lives in that area to this day. He doesn't have a license, as all he needs is within walking distance.

So this song is about Ian being picked on as he walked alone to school every day in the Adelaide st area in Toronto. It made him tougher and he would welcome them to come again, as he would never take a different path. He would take the same path daily, knowing these guys would be there to pick on him. It made him tougher and now he feels like a rock and roll cliché because he has written a song about it, almost as an in your face revenge. redcoral was close!

This song is about his relationship with something. Not a good relationship either, (like alcohol or drugs or something). He uses this to fill his void, even though he knows it isn't right, but he doesn't want to stop either.
